I am Italian , my name is Alessandro and I spearfished along Italy , Turkey and Greece during my ''career'', very long considering I am 57 y.o and started at 7.
I love mediterranean see , had every kind of weapon , and in the last years I used carbon barrel band guns ( home made and c4 ) and a short cressi sl airgun for our caves, but my favourte is a wooden totem pelagos 100cm double band.
Actually I am fishing till 20 mts , hoping to stay in this range.
Here fish is scared and used to spearos , becoming more difficult year after year : but still something come onboard for the dinner....
I am in Tuscany ,at the border with Lazio , right in front Aegilium Island : mail me if you are in this area during our summer!

Welcome to Deeperblue! Glad you could join us!

Do you find that there are fewer fish overall, or are they just more cautious?
