I’m new to free diving and I literally started a week ago. I have been practicing co2 tables and have noticed some strange things and want to see if it’s normal or if there’s something I should do to make it stop.
So when the pressure really builds in my chest and stomach my throat feels dry and filled with pressure and I constantly swallow like excessively sometimes it shoots salvia into my stomach very aggressively. Also I noticed sometimes it feels like my body wants to force any extra air out so I tried plugging my nose and my cheek would puff up trying to release extra air. Is this normal should I do something to help the throat.
