I'm curious about the process of entering a first competition (depth or dynamic). I understand some competitions are open to intermediate divers that may just want to set a PB or compete at an amateur level. The competitions look fun and must be a great way to set a goal to work towards. Thanks in advance!

Any certified freediver should be able to sign up to almost any competition..

The only ones that require a minimum level are world championships, or Invitationals (like vertical blue).

Other than that, just find one close to you and sign up.

Thanks Nathan. I'll keep an eye out for future competitions then. Unfortunately it looks like they are are few and far between in the U.S.
