Found a fairly useful guide (on a commercial website) to deciding which inflatable boat could be right for your needs. As they say themselves, on their website, "the choice of inflatables under 4m from the 100's available is absolutely bewildering. Here is another guide (again, from a commercial site) that might prove useful to someone. It boils down the traditional arguments to a list of pros and cons. It is getting a bit out of date now, but I think that stuff such as weight to power ratio still apply.
