Worth having for sure.. It just makes the colours better.. more realistic to what you see. Can't really chop and change it very easily tho.. it gets kinda stuck inside the lens.. I have two gopro cases.. one with one without

That sounds like a smart move. Have a backup that way and potentially on different mounts.
The more I look at it the more I can see how the cost can spiral out of control. The camera is just the start. Good thing I don't have a 3D telly or laptop, as the 3D set up would probably be irrisistable.

I got mine at Westcountry Water Sports in the end. They have a few spares there too for future refrence.
Been looking at lenses and stuff and considering ordering one of the flat lense housings from the US. Anyone know what the value of import is that doesn't attract duty?

Where in falmouth are you going,the weather is rough at moment so do you reckon visibility is ok and the sea is rough on the north coast at moment, wots it like over there ? im in Redruth today but will be spearing in falmouth thu afternoon till evening depending on sea etc.
guy at seaways reckoned it might clear up, the wind is dropping this eve and the
sun's coming out according to the met, so it might clear up. Reckon it's worth a go. high tide is 630ish, so water will be fairly slack in the evening too. fingers crossed

Ok,ye fingers crossed,if your going thursday let me know i might see you there,last time i went to falmouth i went in at Mainporth beach and saw mainly wrasse,lots of big ones and one bass that i wasnt ready for,it looked like perfect flat fish ground but didnt see any.Im going up to Harlyn bay sat day time poss Fri as well,lots of flatties there,big ones last time.

will u be spearing down there,i know the old inn well,im a musician and have been playing there for years regularly untill it changed hands last year,now he dosnt put much on at all.Cant say it ever much fun in there anyway,if the weathers right and your spear fishing i may come over,Thanx.
Yes we’ll be spearing, and if the weather stops play with the spearguns it’ll be out with the bodyboards.
Not sure what the pub is like since it changed hands but the previous owners had a really good evening menu and as I’m a hungry type of bloke that’s good enough.
Oh and they did a good pint there as well.

got in for an hour tonight, vis wasn't actually all that bad. M mate caught a nice 40cm ish pollock, and I caught my first bass (just about legal at 38cm!)
Chuffed as it is the first time I have taken out my new gun I made, will post pics and a little write-up in the DIY section at some point.
