It's possibly over-simplified but..
With proper anchoring ropes, you can hang A regular Pully on one end , and an 'octopus Pully' on the other end of the kayak.
The extra weight can be held by a third rope with a quick release, and a mechanical 'ascender' so that the weight grabs the rope as soon as its released.
The only weak points are the handles at the front and back of the Kayak, as these are the only place(s) to hang everything from.
