Yes indeed^^^ you do sweat in the water, for sure...this kinda reminds me of a chat I had with a friend that swore fish don't piss, true story...anyways Podge what was it you was talking 'bout:chatup

I stand corrected. Although I do tend to shiver more than sweat at this time of year. :)

Oh man, I cramped in my left calf yesterday afternoon at the pool, I drank a lot of caffeine, did'nt stretch, ate lots of salt, and have'nt had a banana in years! :blackeye I really do know better :crutch I'm glad that I'm working this out now rather than when we hit the Port Aransas jetty in October!

better in pool than ocean...chance favors the prepared mind:king

Mix some gatorade with water,it always help.
Keep drinking fluids,most important thing.
Good luck

Here in South africa there is a product called re-hydrate (doctors prescribe it to people with severe dehydration) - it works a charm - doesnt taste too great but it certainly helps during the day at sea but also one tends to feel less tired in the evening. I have been using it for some time now and have not had cramps.

I think fitness levels would also have an impact on the likelihod of cranps.

thx spadefish, actually been looking into a few electrolyte replacement products, I hear sport bar makes a good one.

I know both elements have been suggested already, but yoga really helps. it combines stretching with relaxation and of course breathing. it really is the apnea spearos best friend
