Am having a great July! Biggest Bass 7lb, which is not far of my pb of 8lb.

Really comfortable with the Comanche guns I own, but have just snapped spear on my 75.

Anybody know the spear length, and does it matter? I may have spare for my 90.

Cheers.
Pav.

Typically the spear on a Euro is 40 cm longer than the front tube length. Using a shaft that is too short can cause real problems with vibrations and loss of accuracy. Using one too long is likely to be fine. The only problems is it will be a little harder to move around, and it won't have quite as much power. I have used a 140 cm shaft on a Rob Allen 90 with no problem. Plenty of penetration for 6-7 lb rockfish.
