Im looking to refresh my gear this year so im starting with a new dive computer.

Ive went through all the testimonials on various websites regarding these two beauties but I thought Id ask the gang for a bit more insight.

So, ladies and ladies, throw your thoughts my way.

User changable battery on Seac one seems to be an adventage, only serious one I can dicern. Help me choose please.

And please dont go, "but my Suunto..." We aint in that price range sweetie.

Thx

Hahahaha! What about the Mares Smart Apnea? It is not THAT expensive and has outlasted all the computers I've had. You can change the battery on your own as well.

Thank you Marco, thats definately a good suggestion. So Mares Smart Apnea is well built. This is exactly why I asked you guys. I dont want to buy a cheap piece of shit.

I have that Seac. I like it a lot with a caveat. I got it on scubastore and it was just shutting off for the first month I had it and every time I would press the light function it would shut off too. I changed the battery and it’s been golden since then, I really like it. It was a cheap one dollar battery too and very easyto change
