I'm looking at buying the Cressi Soft Belt.

Has anyone used them? What do you think? How do they compare to other weight belts? Can you use regular weights or do you need to use soft weights?

I've tried the search function but it doesn't seem to turn up anything specifically regarding this belt.

Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

Thanks in advance for the help... cheers,

Schlergs

I don't have that belt but i do have a similar one. I find it very comfortable to wear and have used scrap lead melted down into ingots for the ballast fine tuned with additional fishing weights!.

Doesn't look like a freediving belt, normally made of rubber that stretches, so it will stay in place as you go up and down. Does it have some elastic characteristics?
