Hello!

Next summer I will either go to Krk (Malinska or Baska) or to Mali Losinj or to Karlobag (opposite of the Island of Pag).

Can somebody tell me, WHICH OF THESE PLACES IS THE BEST? (I was once in Krk (near Malinska) and found that there are very few fish! But I don't know Baska.)

Normally I fish with a 90 or 105 speargun for orata, dentex dentex, sargo and all the other med-fish between 10 an 15 meters (sometimes also 20 or 5). I'm searching for places that I can reach without a boat and of course I prefer steep, rocky places where I don't have to swim to far.

I would be very greatful if you could give me some advice.

Thank you!

If those are your only options then I would suggest Mali Losinj. Lots of good spots. If you can though you should go to the islands lower down. ( Hvar, Vis, Korcula, Lastovo)

There you have steep, rocky places more or less all around the islands and generally more fish.

I agree ! If you can visit island of Vis or island of Lastovo. Vis is considered the cradle of fishing in the Adriatic !

Mljet island is also very interesting choice. Island gives a lot to those who are fond of diving, especially on the side that faces the open sea: Odysseus cave (according to legend, Odysseus was captured by the nymph Calypso here) , natural amphitheater of Zakamenica and two wrecks, a Roman ship still full of amphorae and a German torpedo boat sunk in World War II.
