David Blaine, how will it end???

I just got back from Sky News Studios. I believe the Blaine segment is on sometime after 17:00. As you say - let's hope nobody sinks their yacht, dingy or float.

Wouldn't being CO2 desaturated increase the risk of blackout? (That's why hyperventilation isn't a good idea)

Blackout was needed for the dramatic ending, and it was certainly fully counted with it in the scenario. I am pretty sure that Blaine would go till BO even if he was already over 9 minutes.
