I'm only new to this forum thingy and a week or so ago , I joined as I was looking around for reviews for the Pathos laser open pro , started reading a few threads and very quickly started to wonder what I have been missing out on. A whole bunch of like minded dudes talking about what they love . Well I thought I might share today's effort. After getting the new Pathos 120 the other day I've been as keen all heck to get out there, bingo!!!!magic weather for a few days and days off work too, those two things rarely happen at the same time. Brother in law just drove to nsw to pick up a second hand 6 metre half cabin and the plan is set, test the boat and test the new Pathos. We turn up to the local boat ramp about 6am and as suspected the tide is too low, so it is a trip to port Douglas , bad start to the day!!!!! well after a half hour drive we arrive , get the boat in and we are away , at the risk of boring anyone that cares to read this ill cut it short , boat breaks down about 4 km off shore overheated and after 4 hours , shoving water and ice down the throat of the radiator and after 10 consecutive 500 metre stints we get back to the ramp cursing inboard motors wishing we took my boat out instead and no test of the Pathos , Tomorrow as I only have the morning free ( damned family commitments) we will test that new sucker out along the coast for maybe some nice Mangrove Jack. And a nice seafood dinner. If you can top that crappy arsed day I'd like to hear it
