Deep Blue Divers now has the first female technical diving instructor on the island of Utila and the region of the Bay Islands. Ainhoa (Noa) Bressers is already Trimix certified and met the last requirements to become an extended range (DSAT Tec Level 2) Instructor in the last few days.
Noa is hoping to get more women interested in Tec diving and is able to provide courses in Spanish, English and Dutch. "Hopefully with the island focusing more on Tec we will see an increase in the number of divers from Central and South America particularly female divers", Noa Bressers.
Deep Blue offers a variety of courses and logistical support for Tec divers and is currently exploring sites previously unvisited around the island.
