Crystal Palace has had it's ups and downs. I trained there from 2006 until it closed for renovations in 2007 I think. It was shut for a long time but after a huge amount of patient negotiating from the guys (CP were going to charge a ridiculous amount) it's open to the freedivers again as of 2 months ago. Travelling from Putney to Crystal Palace by train used to be a real mission but the pool was worth it, and that was before it was upgraded.
