Hi all,

I just want to announce that starting from october you can take a "deep" dive in the NEMO swimmingpool in Belgium. The maximum dept is 33 meter, there are several artificial caves, depht levels, etc,

Check out this site, http://www.divebelgium.be/nemoGallery.htm here you already have some previews during the construction.

For more info you can mail me starting from october -> then I will take my first dive in this incredibel pool :)))

See you there,

Greetz,

Thomas

Where in Belgium is it located? Our head office is i Bruusels and I go there 3-4 times a year. If it's not too far then I'll definitely go there once it's opened.

Cause of security reason the maximum depht is limited to 10 meters for a freediver... the end of nemo for the freediving world

Smarter would be to limit it for Scuba divers to 10 meters. Unless they have a in house deco chamber :duh :waterwork

I agree with the ponits made by Loopy and Glenn.

There's should be a arrangement like in La Roche Fontain, where you are only allowed to freedive with some Belgium instructors.

Hi Guys,

Can you please tell me where the pool is? is there a web site?
Opening hours etc etc.

Your info is highly appreciated! Thanks, Carlos

Now who thought up that one??? and how do they inforce it, aqua police.......................... what a waste of a good training pool, with some good instructors they could do one hell of a freediving course from that pool in a safe environment...

I've been trying to get my wife to agree to a little pool in the backyard. Ten meters long, ten meters deep. Just a little place to meditate after work. She says what's wrong with the ocean?
