Hi Freedivers.
I am diagnosed with hiatal hernia + weak sphincter.
Having the reflux more or less under control.
But following diet, timing of eating and taking meds it is still sometimes annoying for freediving and especially long spearfishing sessions.
Also I want to avoid any long term damages to the trachea from the reflux i get in freediving.

So my questions:
1. Is Freediving (strong diaphragmic stretching) maybe the reason for it in the first place?
2. If diagnosed with hiatal hernia and weak sphinter how does freediving make it worse?
