Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I recently purchased my first set of freediving fins from over the internet ( i had no other option as there are no places in this area ((UK) that sell freedive fins). The problem is that the blades are distorted, one is twisted and the other is turned-up at the end suh that it sits approximately 3 inchs off the floor when the fin is placed flat on the floor. The fins have been recommended by alot of people and are esclapez/imersion green fins. However i think it is probably due to storage why they are distorted.

Does anyone know if there is a way of re-shaping the fins so they are straight....as they should be. If i use them as they are i will probably end up swimming in circles.

Many thanks for any replies in advance!

Hi j l ; yeah , it happens to plastics .
Lie them flat , curve down and put a weight on . Should be straight when you wake up ...;)

Yeah.. My fins looked funny after they had been leaning against the wall for a week....like J shape, but they work fine in water... I haven't noticed any differences.. but laying them flat on the floor propably does the job and if not add some heat to it..somehow..
