are there special regs for lake michigan?

YES! You can only shoot 5 Perch. Other than that, same applies. Don't shoot anything you're not suppose to. Know your species, Watch out for Boats, Don't showboat your catch to fisherman (they will hate you and leave a bad taste in their mouths about spearfishing), Have your license on you and a Dive Flag.

Take pics and Post about your dive. :friday

Randy and I are planning on getting together for either spearrfishing and/or freediving on Sunday 7/31... possibly heading to a "large" body of water after some jumbo perch! Let me know if you want in.

It's too far for me to do a 1 day shoot, if someone wants to show me around on Saturday, I would consider doing a 2 day hunt.

I know 1 thing: I'm diving this Saturday. I'm not exactly sure when or where yet. But I am diving. I would like to get in lake michigan if it's still divable. But if not, something with vis and fish.

Anyone interested - post here..........

Going diving tomorrow (wed) with Tass. Probably somewhere in Marquette County. Not 100% sure where yet. Maybe WOOD LAKE.
