Just read in the news section about another new logging tool for recording dives - interested in what other members use - did you download one for nothing that has worked well or what is a good well priced product for divers to record there dives - also interested if any Instructors out there in db world have found a programme that is more orientated for Instructors
Thanks

Dive Logging

In a similar but related vein does anyone know of a dive logging package for the Palm or other PDA?

Even better if it can interface with a dive computer.

Thanks

SharkPoint logbook software

Hello,

SharkPoint runs on different PDA types (Palm, PocketPC) and it has a very nice windows companion too. Currently it can import Suunto, Mares and Sensus dive data and in the near future it will import more dive computer data formats.
It also supports GIS/GPS, photo albums, creating of own logbook print designs etc.

Just check out for yourself:

AquaDiveLog is a free logging program for the Palm. PADI also do one, but want US$30 I believe.

I've been using AquaDiveLog for a while now and am quite happy with it. You can also get plugins to allow you to add drawings or import from your computer.

Cheers - James
