Expressions of interest for a dive holiday in the Solomon Islands,
Hi I am taking bookings for a one week dive trip to the Solomon Islands. This will be the first trip and the offer is only available for six lucky Australians. All meals will be provided and local style accommodation. All dives will be off the beach with 5WW2 wrecks to explore, large carriers, planes and submarines. Airport transfer and transport provided bring your own gear or gear hire is available. This is not resort style accommodation; you will live just like local Solomon islanders with cold showers and local meals. Experience some of the best diving in the world and enjoy simple sustainable living with organic home grown meals. Full 24/ 7 security provided and local knowledge guarantee this to be a real life time experience; contact Shane for further information on 0411325355

Only 4 divers for first trip.
Cost per diver for 7 days excluding airfare is $2,651.00AUD
Divers must arrange their own travel insurance and airfares. Virgin airlines
fly from Melbourne return for about $1,000.00 and less from Brisbane. Diving is great all year round.

Hi Solomon,
I am from Ireland and therefore have no interest.
But if I was going to go as it stands I would be cautious.
Firstly, I need information on your company and org, how long its been going, how many dives etc you've already done and any reccomendations you've had from previous holiday makers... A website is the minimum here, and if you have none of the above say it...
Also to entice people give some photo's and information on the wrecks and locations of diving... saying there are 5 wrecks is only slightly above interesting... showing pics and video's of these wrecks.... and I'd be reaching for my wallet.
While you're at it give information, photo's and video's (we are in the information age afterall) of the island itself and most importantly the accomodation! Telling people its sparse may be honest, but its off putting to my and my hand is now reaching away from my wallet...
Also... what is the context of 24/7 security... this tells me that there is a very real need for this security and it sounds very dangerous... my wallet is not even an option right now!

What I'm saying is people may well be interested... but you are making it very difficult for them to justify shelling out over 3k on a holiday with you (including flights etc)

Hope this is helpful and I havent missed the mark!

Hi thank you for your response. This is not your average diving holiday with glossy pictures and fancy web sites. There is always an element of danger; this can be kept to a minimum with local security and respect for custom and culture. One of my good mates there is a dive instructor and has lots local experience. I’m after experienced divers that would like to do some of the best wreak diving in the world. There is loads of information on- line regarding the sites around Honiara capital of Solomon Islands. The type of people are out there for this diving trip, it not for the masses it’s a real get away from the norm.
