Aloha, we are Hilo Scuba Diving and we are a newly formed SCUBA diving company in Hilo, Hawaii. If you have never experienced the great diving offered in Hilo, we would like to introduce you to it and recommend it. The diving is great over here with waters averaging 77 degrees generally. The visibility can be from 40' to 100 ft'. We have cold water runoff from the mountain's so the water remains slightly colder than it is on the Kona (west) side of the island so our coral health is doing very well when compared with the warmer Kona side. Sea life is abundant with our dives almost always finding green sea turtles, some octopus and eels. We also come across the occasional white tip reef shark and have had some sighting of tiger sharks. Please feel free to ask questions here if you plan on diving Hilo and we can recommend good entry points and routs to take while SCUBA diving! We are at www.hiloscubadiving.com and we look forward to participating more here in these forums. Let's get diving! Mahalo
