diving reflex?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
A very basic explanation is that upon immersion in water, your heart rate drops and your blood supply to the non essential organs is reduced. Effectively it means you can stay underwater for longer. Some of the apnea ppl will explain better.

Whats up with that Great White they caught last week in croatia??? 6 metres sounds a bit exaggerated to me.
 
They cought that shark before few weeks but they didn't want to tell anyone because of the tourists...
 
How big was it really?

I guess they go there in search of the tuna. Is this the same one they saw a few months ago?
