Ill be attending a beginners freedive course where the max dive aloud is 66ft. What kind if a dive time does it take to dive 66ft? Ive never measured my depth of dives so im curious if this is something im capable of acheiving.

Diving to 66ft

With some training one can make it a 5 minute dive 
With a noseclip, good ears and monofin I estimate one could reach the -20m (66ft) in something like 12-15 seconds. Maybe 30 seconds for the whole dive.
But I think you should not worry about weather you may be able to reach it.
Instead I recommend you make slow dives that are almost like relaxed static dives with some gentle motion. Practice on a good smooth and relaxed duckdive. Underwater do everything slow, even when the urge to breath comes, relax and take your time.
Have plenty of shallow dives with long bottom times and hang's. The goal is to learn to relax at depth as well as to gently stretch your ribcage, diaphragm.
Make sure your body and mind are rested and in good shape before the dive session.
Try only 1 new thing in a dive.
Close your eyes and become aware and enjoy all the sensations within.

Great tips Kars thanks for that. I usually dive la jolla area and thats where the ocean part of the course will be aswell.
Lots of seals and sea lions, leopard sharks, bat rays, geribaldi fish, calico bass, sometimes dolphins pass through etc etc. The la jolla area is protected so no spearfishing. Unfourtunatly the seals and sea lions are becoming over populated and cleaning out the ocean.
Unfortunately they are also cleaning out many beaches as well, in a political sense. When they begin appearing on a beach (even man-made ones like Children's Pool) we have plenty of environmental extremists who lobby to have the beaches closed to the public and if that fails, they actively harrass divers, swimmers, and surfers who want to swim from the beach. It's really bonkers.

Is there a childrens pool in laguna aswell or did you mean la jolla? Either way yeah its bad and the people dont even realize they are fighting for the destruction of the habitat. They just see a cute little harbor seal and react with emotions rather then use their brain.
Ive yet to be harrassed but i welcome it because they dont have a leg to stand on in a debate of the topic. The funny thing is the same people will stop at jack in the box and order a slaughtered cow on a bun. I guess if they dont see it killed its not their fault?

Yeah sorry, children's pool in la jolla. Got mixed up with all the recent closures. I have never dove from Children's Pool, just seen the videos and heard from spearos in that area.
