Hello everyone!
Yesterday I shot my first amberjack in the med, in about 5m of water. I panicked as a big school passed me by and in my panic I hit the smallest one of the school (500g) which is downright a no no for me, especially when the rest were over 2kg
Anyway since they come near shore this time of the year, im thinking of making a flasher rig diy. I bought 3 trolling flashers and a silicone squid, but how do I go about making it?
Im talking about the distance between each flasher (i will tie them with 60lbs mono and the squid at the bottom, I will add a 28g weight under the squid as well. The mono should be attached to some cord on a winder and adjust the depth or full mono?
Also how do you fish these? Do I Anchor it on the bottom, and stalk nearby or tie the float on my float and let it drift away and stalk?
Any input will be appreciated thanks I. Advance, and safe dives!
