Do Freedivers Dream?

I started to leave my body once.....I was laying on my back, and I could literally feel myself lifting up, starting at my feet. Once it reached my knees, I pretty much FREAKED out and pulled myself back down.

Hey
I agree personally, I don't think that when we think we 'leave our bodies' we actually do.. I think it's all in the mind. It's very interesting though
Sleep adjustment is where you set your alarm for about three or four hours before you usually get up on alternate nights. So one night you sleep normally, one night you set your alarm to go off. For the first week or so I think you set the alarm every night. Once you've woken up, focus on relaxing, think about what you would like to dream about, tell yourself that you will lucid dream and then go back to sleep again. The theory is that after a while, you're mind is used to waking up four hours early, but if you're still alseep then instead of actually waking up you simply lucid dream. You tend to get your most vivid dreams in the early morning anyway. I think there might be more to it than that, but i've found that if i've accidently woken up about four am, and then go back to sleep, i'm much more likely to have a lucid dream.
Had a mild vivid dream last night... not nice. Repeatedly stabbed someone who was trying to kill me, am v.stresses in life right now.

Hope that helps!

Todd, i remember when something like that first happened (although I fall backwards) and my heart raced so much, I thought it was going to burst! I was so shocked
