Last Friday I've got into very fishy site - around St. Alban's Head. It was worth to visit though very strong currents and much worse visibility than in Worbarrow Bay. Seen lots of decent size Bass and Mullets but managed to spear only one of each of them although I shot about 20 times. The current disturbed my aiming and I missed even 4-5kg fish!:head
Anyway, I got one 3kg Bass, one 1.2kg bass, one 1.5kg Mullet and two Pollocks, 0.7kg each.
Next day I used my small inflatable around Purback and got 4.4kg bass and missed the similar size Mullet - previous fish made the shaft bent:vangry

Wow great tuna ! lets hope they start coming around here more. Had a arguement over this today ! bah should not have used the words anal, twat etc in the conversation but hey love spearfishing , basicaly the other guy was saying it was illegal to shoot friggin tuna in UK waters ( something to do with migrateing species) . No I am not starting a debate on this but PLEASE , PLEASE tell me I was correct for once ?
Hey guys cheers for the positive feed, back still totally made up with this beauty which felt like a long time coming. Divings feeling good at the moment with some PB breathholds and depths getting broken so hopefully i've got some good fish left in me yet
Like Paul said no camera mount set up for the RA yet, but I seem to remember the shiny1 had a good mount for the RA posted a while back, so I'll do some research and get to it.
Foxfish Oil salt pepper and garlic. Tasted much the same as bass to me but I cook most my bass this way, nice and simples. Felt good eating this lovely bream even better knowing it was my first.
RA 1100 killer doesn't quite work does it Dave.

I think you are correct, but I am only assuming you are, given the information I have found on the ICCAT(International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas) Try page 4 to start & 12, although 12 is somewhat contradictory on catch size.

Just because a species of fish is migratory, doesn't mean it is protected, certain vessels/fleets from different countries are allowed to catch Tuna on their migratory routes. Some for farming are caught as juveniles for rearing in pens in the Med for the Japanese markets in December.
