Well done lads will send some rep when I am on my computer. Inpressive fish for the time of year Lee an can't wait to see Nobby's big one (ooo errr)! In other news I had a dip on Monday afternoon evening tried some deep spots looking in caves but nothing of note seen and still bloody chilly at depth. I have however come up with a ground breaking technique, after studying the boards and catch reports for a few months I think I have it nailed...


...follow lee, then get in 2miles from where he starts. Job done!

Had a bit of a swim around Durdle Door on Sunday mainly to test out a new fig rig for the GoPro. I never usually fish there but I wanted to report on the vis anyway...

...It was terrible. The landslide has left the water very milky all around the area. Vis was up to 1 meter at best, even at depth. 10 degrees.

Another awsome dive.

I hooked up with my duve buddy Nobby; he's not been able to get in much recently due to a new baby. And I seem to have lady luck on my side at the moment.

I wanted to try a completely new spot, bit of a risk? But it's paid off lately as ive hit a different spot every dive the past month. Also it was a good hour drive from Nobby's house; but he was still keen.

Got to spot and vis looked good. Worked the beachand reef for an hour and nothing worth taking. Decided on a marathon 2 mile swim Slowly hunting as went 2 hours of absolutely NOTHING was about to Give up, then I see a glimpse of very very skitish fast moving silver; could it be what I was after? So I slowed down to a snail pace snd swam another 20 Yards and there was another deep chrome fish, blunt head and wearing a gold gilted crown......."yes" it was.....I nailed it with my picasso gun!!!!!!!
3lb 3oz gilthead bream.

We went on further....when suddenly I see a huge tail! Take aim but notice that Nobbyhad already lined up on it, so I lower my gun.
..boom!!!!! OMG what a fish for Nobby! Really.....this fish is awsome. I wil let him post up. I will leave you all with a pic of my not so aesome gilthead bream.

as lee said we went for wot felt like a lifetime without seeing a single fish then lee nailed his awsome gilt. with me now seing a fish hunt mode kicked in. stealthy swimming i see a big siver shape on the end of my torch light . i slowly creep up andnotice it is 1 munter of a bass so keeping myself calm i line up the shot by ducking down and making my way to the side of the fish then boom!!!!!! biggest bass i hav eva shot at 11lb 2oz is now on my stringer after stoning it dead i almost gave lee some man loving i was that stoked with my catch ha ha !! i then went on to getting a 5lb 10oz bass and a 4lb mully so 1 verry happy chap for my first bass of the season

Hi all, first post on here. Got in off the rib finally, and on a drift off Portland came across this lobster. I bought it back to port to get a picture and later returned it off Portland. As it is my understanding that lobsters take years to grow so would be a shame... He lasted this long without ending up on a plate. Hoping to get in off shore this evening somewhere easy and close to home.

That it did mate. It was hard not to get to excited to take a shot. Verry same ki.d of feeling wen i got my first gilthead . Butterflys and all u wanna do is shoot but gotta stay calm to get a decent shot.
