DYNAMIC APNEA No fins

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Thanks, that was fun to watch. In the pool I've found the stroke and kick come naturally with a good streamline off the wall. I'd also be curious to see a breakdown of proper pool technique.
 
Well, I am not sure if it is the best style for DNF, but the current US national Dynamic No Fins record was made by Wes Lapp with an indeed revolutionary technique - actually not using the feet at all, only slightly paddling with arms along the body. Its an interesting technique for sure, but there's still a way to go to reach the kind of performances that people are getting using the breaststroke-style technique. Everybody is different, but I suspect that good traditional technique trumps the stranger methods for the vast majority. Of course the traditional style isn't very easy to perfect...
