Are you using them (while training, after...)?
Did anyone try to dive with them (only on small depths); i know it is dangerous.
Is there any special ear plugs for freedivers >>> in no limits let's say Pipin, did he really equalisated on the depth >150 m( - how...) or he had somthing in ears...

What will eventually happen if you block the ear with a plug or a too tight fitting wetsuit which will not let any water in is that the blood vessles in the ear will rupture from the pressure and the ear will be filled with blood!

Another potential problem is if the plugs or suit suddenly "fail" and let in water quickly. In this case you would have to equalise really quickly or the eardrum would probably rupture!

I belivie it was Eric Fattah who described having problems with this (wetsuit, not plugs) at some considerable depth. You can probably find it with the search function!

I read somewhere, maybe from Tanya Streeter's journals??, that guys like Pinpin and few other pros are filling their nasal cavity with water so you don't have to equalize. Yeah. Sounds pretty painful.

Far as I know ear plugs are a no-no:naughty

Ear plugs are used mainly in cold water to prevent "Surfers Ear". The plugs prevent circulation of cold water, thus preventing the growth of a bone spur inside the ear. The bone spur is the body's reaction to continual exposure to low temperature water inside the ear.

Wearing ear plugs does NOT mean you do not have to equalise. I am not aware of any method by which equalisation of the sinuses can be circumvented, short of flooding them with water.

Wetsuit squeeze around the ears can be prevented by making a small hole in the hood in line with the ear canal.
