Eating gar

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
The (old) cook in question is supposedly well known for early book on Mediterranian cooking, so it was surprising to hear than comment from her. When I was a young, I think you would have been assumed to be foreign if you ate or smelt of garlic. Onions, of course, where a different matter entirely :D
 
I understand HM doesn't like garlic. I would imagine that the younger generations disagree?
 
Of yes, garlic is very popular & "every day" these days - the taste if not the smell afterwards :D
