Hi,
I'm considering to visit Eilat during the winter (January/February 2014).And never being in the region, a lot of questions pops up...
Please advice what could be winter air & water temperature, visibility, currents/waves ?

Any advice will be quite valuable, thank you in advance!

Kind regards,
Dido

You will need a scuba buddy/guide in Eilat, as Israel does not allow solo diving. Hiring a guide is very reasonable. Make certain you have a logged dive within the last 6 months, or you will have to take a refresher course. Master Divers and above do not need the logbook requirement.

Dive the Satil, if you can. It has a history.
