Hi,

anyone ever heard of that? I saw it once, but I don't know where to buy.

It looks like a standard metal-buckle, but has an elastic (spring?-) element to compensate the shrinking of your stomach.

I know there are elastic belts, but for some reasons I am interested in this buckle.

Cheers, Carsten

I found a picture from an Auction at eBay:

Why not go with just a standard elastic belt that you can grab from DiveInn?

That Ocean Edge style buckle is available from most on line places here, such as Pirate Scuba and Discount Divers, and probably more if you want to look.

I like that style of belt on my SCUBA weight belt and tank harness straps, as they are nylon web and they take a bit of the compression out of the material as you go up and down. I recommend them. Let me know if you can't find them, I can send you a few- I believe they're about $8-10 US.

Thanks

Unfortunately the buckles are hard to find in germany but I found a used one.

Sven: Thanks for your offer. Very nice from you.

M-2: I have a rigid belt with some special fetaures ;) . I simply want to keep this one...

Regards, Carsten
