elevator technique??

Anyone knows what is an elevator technique or pushing your dive buddy from the surface so he goes deeper? Saw it on a freediving page on facebook talking about advanced and master spearfishing course SAI... any info would be gr8.

hello in cuba we use a technique alike your buddy pulls the fishing line from the surface and you grab it and use it for going up.
