I went on a 2 day course with Sebastaian Näslund and Annelie Pompe as instructors.
Sebastian has a very good philosophy that every student has different needs and this was felt throughout the course that no matter what skills we had there was always alot of good tips and suggestions about what we did wrong and not and believe me I myself did alot of things that was not so good since i never had anyone comment my freediving.
I sugest anyone who started freediving from novice to someone with some experience to go to a course with someone that have gathered lot of information about freediving and that is able to share this knowledge in a smart and friendly way.
On the corse I did improvement of about factor x3 and this was a big surrpise to me since I did not think I had it in me.
Before i mostly freedived alone and without the safety of diving organized.
The coaching and techniques they teach is not rockey sience but you just wont be able to make such progress on your own by learning from the internet.
I suggest that if you think about taking a course look for someone that is a freediver that burns for his hobby and that knows what heor she is talking about.
To me a plastic card or certification is not important and i noticed that some instructors that run freediving courses at divecenters dont really have a clue about the details of freediving and what new techniques and knowledge there is.
On this page you can see what static times we did after some coaching and yoga stretching. Remember that noone was trained in breathholding before.

(The course was also very much worth the time and money, it cost only about 80 dollars.)
When i did my 31 meter dive i was so relaxed and focused that when i got a burning jellyfish in my face on the way down i just calmed down and continued since the breath hold felt so good.
Sebastian told us to be relaxed and to be able to handle the unexpexted.
