Fin size with 7mm socks

I´m going to buy Cressi Gara Professional LD, and since I am diving in Norway, I will use 7 mm Neoprene socks (bootees). My regular shoe size is 42/43 (Europe). Should I by fins in 44/45 or 46/47?

I have size 42/43 normal fins, 44/45 fins R a bit loose with softish 5 mm socks. I think 7 mm could go in those, but with 7 mm socks U will lose lots of power. If You have warm suit, U could go for fe. Spetton 5 mm winterglide socks. They R warm &the warm suit helps to keep the feet warm.

Unless you are diving in winter 5mm should do. I dive in 7-10 degree water in 5mm socks and don't get cold.

I dive under the ice with my 5mm socks and are fine. I use C4 Mustangs these days and don't need to upsize the fins at all for different socks. If you were going to jump up a size I would suggest only jumping up one size and not two. The will end up being too sloppy. You should also look into getting some rubber fin keepers. We sue them for underwater hockey and i've seen people make them out of old car tire inner tubes. Some people call them fixie-palms. I've also made them out of old wetsuit socks.

For my mono fin (hyperfin) I use 3mm socks underneath and 5mm socks with the toes cut off over the foot pocket and they work fine down to 1C/33F.
