I have good oportunity to by Mares Razor F740 fins. Foot pocket fits perfect but I am confused while the blade is only 59cm long. They are shorter than normal freediveing fins. I will use them for spearfishing and freediveing up to 25m. Any advise, will be better than long freediveaing plastic fins.

They will be better than plastic fins, but for that depth, I recommend longer blades.

Have you considered Leaderfins? They are very good for the price.

They are cheaper than C740 for a reason - fiberglass vs fiberglass/carbon combo and constant thickness which is a cheaper construction than a variable thickness fins. I suggest going for C740 if you have the funds. I have razor carbon that are only slightly longer than C740/F740 - by 2.5cm. In my opinion shorter fin would be harder on your legs if you have to swim a lot but will be more responsive and better for bursts of speed. Especially because they are not variable thickness. Mares Razor Footpocket is good for ANY mares fins - you can change later.

Nice blades.. I'm more of a shallow water, around the rocks, diver and would like to get some 'real' blades someday.
