The theory is they keep the fin straighter when finning so they remain efficient through the fin kick

Sam I've just got the pure evolution blades and used Pathos foot pockets for the first time. Good combination. I've got them in a 7-8 if you want to try them. And I have others to compare at the same time.

I've only used them briefly but so far I rate them better than anything I've had previously. Ill chat on the phone if you want.

I personally feel that round ended fins move straighter through the water, but also float lines and gun lines are less likely to catch on them!

I've seen the Mares Razor - Leaderfins Waves combination, and the blades didn't fit into the pockets well.
