I wanted to update everyone on my progress on my gun.
I have a piece of laminated teak recycled from a broken pool deck chair.
I cut my track with a table saw, it was a bit tricky with the math but i figured It out. its a partially enclosed track
The Alexander trigger mechanism was incredibly easy to install with a drill press 1/2 bit and a chisel took me about 20 minutes to mortise the slot.
I would recommend this trigger mech to anyone
I tapered the gun with a table saw it was very easy.

Gun length is 54 inches track is 45 inches its 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 tall at the handle and tapers to 1 1/2 tall and 1 1/2 wide.

If someone could explain how to post pictures id be happy to put them up.

anyone have ideas on how to make sure the holes to install the trigger mechanism are in the right place. Should i make a template?
