Fit of Omer Suits

Hello all

A friend of mine got an Omer suit, it look great and seem to fit well, but when it was tried out there seemed to be a lot of water circulating and "sloshing" around.

can anything be done, or is this normal.

It is not normal for water to slosh about; there should ideally be a thin 'film' of water between skin and inside of suit which gets warmed up and helps insulate. There is either a hole/tear somewhere in suit or the suit is too big.

(this is my first post so before I ask my question I just wanted to thank you everyone for the time and knowledge that goes into your replies. I've learned a lot in a short time.

I am interested in buying a cold water suit so I can dive into Dec. I live in Long Island, NY. I'd appreciate any feedback on these products/suits. I'm looking at the Picasso (Ghost Termic - 7 mm)...price tag - $599.00> ouch!

Picasso...Camu Thermo - Flex 7mm.....same price.

Yazbeck....5mm.......399.00.

Spetton.......5mm......399.00.

These are all Camo suits. I mostly spearfish the Northeast so I figured a green, black, etc. would be the right color combo. What do you think?

I'm looking for some guidance. I know there are tons of good suits out there so please let me know what other companies you've had decent results with.

How much would a cold water suit be from elios?
Say in the 5 / 7 mm range?
And how long to they take on average? (From sending in the measurements until You have the baby at home..)
