Float Setup?

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
By the way I use Rob Allen's inexpensive "Thai curry" green polypropylene float line. But last year a guy on the local indoor was selling 20m lengths of something very similar - a little thinner and a little lighter in colour (he also had red & blue) for £1, and made in England I bought several and find them very useful. I spliced loops into each end of some of them and they work very well as float lines - I plan to use one as my main line this season, it's worked well so far. [Also good for securing tree limbs and hanging deer!]

For UK spearos: I saw some similar polypropylene line in Tesco last week, a bit thicker & looser than the RA line/market line (i.e. not as good) but it would do the job at £1, for 40m I think. I don't like it as much as the RA or market lines that I already have but at that price I will probably buy one - after all rope has many uses.
