Flooded towns to create resivoirs

I have been told that a number of towns, Quabbin and Northfiled have been deserted and flooded to create reservoirs but I am unable to find any information on these or and other possible sites. Does anyone know anything?

These towns you refer to, where are they based? Are they in Europe, US?

I believe that they are USA based or maybe Mexico? They are definitely not European.

Right - i've done a quick search on a variety of our news and search resources and only been able to come up with something for Quabbin...

An interesting overview comes on: http://www.the-spa.com/nomortal/quabbin.htm
which describes in general terms one of the reservoirs created.

It seems that they are based in Eastern Massachusetts, USA although I haven't searched for any further information on it. I will continue to search in more depth and post anything I find here.

Réservoir Taureau, Québec

I know that there is one in Québec, Canada in the "Réservoir Taureau" located northwest of Montreal.

But I heard that there is not much to see there. Everything interesting has been pulled out or detroyed.

I've never dive there so if someone could tell us more about about this location, It'd be interesting.
