Simos, Try it in the water, head down, with a lot going on as in most dives. It is not consistent enough I am sure. My ears clear too when cleaning one nostril after using a neti pot!

Yes agree Simon - I couldn't think of anything good so I just invested the time to learn BTV. I don't do very deep dives so for me it works perfectly but it did take me a couple of years to learn.

Having said that I live in London and dive in open water only a few times a year, so if you consider that it didn't take THAT long to learn.
