Fluid googles and contact lenses

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
'If you're short-sighted the Sphera corrects your vision quite well. I only found this out after owning a Sphera for 4 years!'
funny you should say that Ben. I wear +1.5 for far vision and after years I just realized that wearing a mask in the water has the same correction and it was a waste to buy a lens for the right eye. I still like the 'reading' lens for my left eye though. I use mono vision for glasses, contacts and mask. It works better than bi-focals.

I know you can get corrective lenses in a snorkel mask, so I'd guess they're available in goggles, too. There are also masks [and probably goggles] that approximate your required correction, rather than being exact, and those are cheaper. You can inquire at a swim/dive shop or do a search on line.

Corrective goggles will be useless once you flood them with water. You won't be able to see a thing. Same thing with a corrective mask.

I agree with fattah. I just tried this last week and resulted was bad. Better of just by the fluid googels
