I have a Riffe Metal Tech 3 that's got to go due to up coming back surgery and finacial strain. I hate to let it go, but I won't be able to use it for a while....
It's a MT-3 with an enclosed track, with an aluminum muzzle, and factory installed inserts for a Riffe reel.
My MT-3 is a perfect YT, WSB, and other large gamefish gun with a real 20+ ft range. The AL muzzle gives it a little extra mass at the front of the gun to help absorb the recoil. Also, it allows you to use 4 5/8" bands or 5 9/16" bands, instead of 3 and 4 with the stock muzzle. The enclosed track helps increase accuracy even by enclosing the shaft the length of the gun, and eliminating shaft whip, when powered by that many bands.
It also comes with 4 almost new (5/8") bands, and 3 shafts.
The first shaft is 5/16" Riffe threaded with a rest tab and comes with a Wong (Aimrite) slip tip, which is in my opinion the best tip made for a 5/16 shafts, because it is made from 5/16 stock rather than 3/8 stock like the competion's tips, the tip costs $140 new.
The second shaft is a 9/32" Riffe shaft with flopper.
The third shaft is a 5/16" Riffe threaded shaft with a Riffe Rock tip (two floppers).
I'll also throw in ~75 ft of 400# mono, and some crimps.
Everything is in EXCELLENT condition. New this stuff costs over $900, but I'll let everything go for $500 + Shipping......What a Steal.....Located in Southern California.
