Hey, I just found this site and i am wondering what freediving is all about. I am 14 years old and i am interested in this. i tried looking in the start out feediving thread but i did not really understand what it is about from reading that.

i started trying the co2 tables and i can do that but the o2 tables look really hard i dont think i can do that

Hi.

Freediving is about staying underwater and enjoying it. That's all. All those stuff you don't understand (yet) are just means how to make the underwater stay a bit longer and still safe.
You should become used to tables soon - don't worry.

how often should i do the tables, and if i get used to them should i increase the static times?

Some says once a week is enough. Some does it few times a week. I don't do it at all. Just sometimes CO2 and in that time I use a bit modificated pattern. So I cannot tell you more about that. But for sure it's about incereasing the times when you are comfortable with tables. Go through the posts again and ask someone who can tell you more then me.

ive been trying to do the frenzel eqaualizing thing but i can close my epiglottis and leave my soft palete neutral :duh
