I saw the show on Animal Planet and I was mesmerized, can't get it out of my mind, until I go out to our coast with 2 ft vis and 12 ft swells, thanks for transporting me

not to break up the partttttttty, but freedive is awesome..if you enjoy watching fish for hours on end. i swtiched to American's Top Beaches after awhile. Freediver couldn't keep my attention; it failed. they had very good video clips of underwater animals and plants, though. i wished it would have showed the sport freediving... not looking for stupid animals like the sea cow. meh, overall it was all right.

I saw two of the three programmes on the BBC and thought they were absolutely superb. I do hope that they are released on DVD sometime

I got exausted just watching Tanya dive. She had no snorkle and if you have ever tried it... you get tired very quickly having to constantly pick your head up. It's very hard to slow the heart for the next dive. Also noticed .. everyone else had snorkles. Good thing Tanya is a world Champion freediver!!
I think she would have enjoyed herself much more had she been able to dive with a snorkle.

Interesting. I remember seeing a snorkle at several junctures during the show, and it looked like she was having the time of her life. Regardless, it was tons of fun to watch. Made me want to go diving again.

Following a few queries into when the show will air again, this is a heads-up to let you know it will be on this SUNDAY 19th March at 3pm EST and again on June 25th at 8pm EST/PT. Check your local listing for start time in your area.

I don't have any information about international transmission of the film, but when I find out I will post it here and on my website (www.redefineyourlimits.com) so watch this space.

Yes, Eric, there was a happy ending...... And I'm heading out to film another part of the next series on Saturday. Big scary toothy creatures in a tropical location - that's all I am able to tell you at this point. The new films will air in the UK this fall/winter season. And the first 3 (Belize, Whales & Galapagos) will air again soon in the UK. Belize film is next Sunday 26th on BBC2 I think, and the others will get prime time mid-week slots. Info will be on my site, and in local TV guides.

thanks tanya (and all the crew) for the footage, joy and a visual of what most of us (i guess) fell about freediving. that's a big compilation of dreams, for me!!
I saw the merged 2 hour film... it was nice to see the perfect technic (bad spelling) and all that life especialy the whales and the seals. the bubling seal is the most priceless thing in all the movie.
those suits look realy nice...
