Hello, I would like to ask the freedivers here who have a period: what's the best part of your cycle for freediving and breath hold? What's the hardest? I've noticed changes in my performance, with the worst being just before my period and I'd like to see how they track. Very little information out there about how menstrual changes influence freediving

OK, so obviously I cannot claim any direct experience here, and I clearly don't fall into the demographic that you've asked information from...
But a fairly recent discussion about anaemia here on the forum made me think this could well be something to watch out for – in particular, since it's possible to be somewhat anaemic, causing blood O2 levels to drop more easily/quickly, without actually realising (-until it's potentially too late).
