I’m a certified level 2 free diver. I’m trying to find a Freediving club in New Jersey and Delaware, plus clubs in France and Switzerland.

I tried to find clubs, but no success. The Freediving “clubs” turned out to be Freediving instruction.

I know there are clubs out there, but I can’t find them.

thanks

Perhaps you could start a meetup.com freediving group?

If you are skilled at running groups, keep it. If not, then my advice would be to grow it, then hand it over to a member who knows how to run a group. (I have started many forums then handed them over to other people, and those forums would never had existed had I not started them.)

My experience is that there really are very few freediving clubs, even very few freedivers at all. In my area, Baltimore-Washington, there are no clubs. There was one meetup club a few years ago but it disbanded from lack of interest. And to further complicate this, most pools are becoming hostile to freedivers for safety reasons. Good luck though!

Hi Kosovorick, we have a couple of guys who freedive and do routine pool training around Hoboken and JC. I couldn't find any 'clubs' either when I moved here last year. So just gathered friends who are interested and train together. Really hope to meet more people in the area.
