Hi, anyone know where is good to go? Also, are there any laws i need to be aware of?
Also, is there any way you can get a spearo liscense before i go there?

Sepadiver navigator fins

Hi,

Do any of you croatian divers know anything about this fin?

http://www.sepadiver.com/CATALOGO/pinne/PAGINA 44.htm

A good friend of mine worked as a commercial diver for over 10 yrs in Croatia. He likes their wet suites, and suggested this fin to me as an inexpensive long-fin option to get by on until I get through the long process of finding the right fin with right footpouch. (A much more involved process than I expected as a newbie with narrow foot for an American.)

(Oh, and shipping isn't really an issue, since we are going in on a multiple order.)

Thanks,

Clinton

hi clinton

did your friend ever try a real freediving fin to compare them?

it doesn't seem to me to be a good choice for freediving. if you want cheap fins buy any other snorkel fin at home and save the shipping.

plus that design with those cutouts is fragile and will break rather sooner than later. i've seen that many times.

just my opinion

Thanks, Roland.

No, my friend has logged hundreds of hours spearfishing in the Sporasub Dessaults--which is the fin he recommends.

However, since I'm new to longfins, he was thinking that, since he is ordering a suite from there, throw in an inexpensive pair of fins until I have time to really figure out how much diving I'm doing, and under what conditions, and what fin really works for me.

My philosophy is a little different--which is, do a lot of reasearch up front and at least get something good, even if you end up selling it on ebay later. By the time you've spent $50, you might as well spend $100, in my thinking.

So, thanks for your structural analysis, that's very helpful.
